The Panthers pranced past the Yellowjackets, 56-14, in a game that was led by their defensive prowess and seniors Ja’Quinden Jackson and Trysten Smith, who both scored 2 TDs a piece.
Jackson suffered an injury in the second quarter and had to be helped off of the field, he did not return to the game.
Duncanville is now set for a rematch with the #5 Galena Park North Shore Panthers (14-1) in the 6A D1 UIL state title game next weekend.
