The Dragons aired it out early and often as sophomore QB Quinn Ewers finished the game with 365 passing yards and 5 passing TDS, leading Carroll to a 37-15 playoff victory. The Dragons defense also consistently stifled the DeSoto offense when they needed to most, as seniors Brandon Howell and Dylan Thomas both came up with huge interceptions deep in their own territory.
Southlake Carroll will play the winner of Saturday’s Midland Lee vs Arlington Lamar matchup.
