Week 1 of the 2019 Texas high school football season gave us some surprises, some upsets, some late-game thrillers, and some expectations.

Specifically, 6A had the biggest parity of the weekend as impressive outings by Arlington Martin, Katy, and Denton Guyer has given our voters some things to think about this week.
