James Lott's Prospect Breakdown

Strengths: Excllent length with long arms and the frame to put on extra muscle as he matures.
Rangy athlete with the ability to cover lots of ground and make plays on both sides of the field.
Excels at multiple positions including FS, SS and CB. Lives to climb up in receivers face in bump
and run coverage. Shuts down half the field with the ability to take top receivers out of the game.
Bump-and-run specialist when asked to do so. Does and excellent job of maintaining feel for vertical
threats and uses his frame to pin wideouts against sideline. Excels in deep, man coverage and can
be smothering when asked to be. Acceleration and length to contest any throw on the field. Well-
coached and plays with proper techniques and skills in coverage. Can be intimidating and disruptive
as a Safety and is willing and able to come downhill and lay the wood.
