When the 2022 #TXHSFB playoffs began, it started out with more than 700 teams playing for a shot at a title. Now we’re down to just 12 in little over a month. Each classification (1-6A) have two divisions seperated into a total of a dozen brackets including four regions that will crown a champion at the end of the season. This isn’t a series, it’s a tournament – you lose, you go home, as crying season is at its peak. This is undoubtedly the biggest playoff system in the country and the competition is stout. Nobody, and I do mean nobody, does football quite like Texas. Here are my predictions for the UIL State football championships. Best of luck to every school that have earned the right to be called champion.
