The #8 ranked Westlake Chaparrals (10-1) defeated the Clemens Buffaloes (6-5) 28-14 in the first round of the playoffs at Chaparral Stadium.

Next week, the Chaps will travel to San Antonio take take on the Brennan Bears (8-3) at the Alamodome, in the second round of the playoffs.
