Q: What is the best part about being back on the gridiron with everything going on right now?

A: I’m just happy that we’re getting a chance to play with everything going on. For many of us it’s our last year and we have to appreciate this opportunity

Q: What are your personal and team goals for the season?

A: My goal for this season is having some interceptions, last year was my first year playing corner so I was learning a new position. Now that I know how it goes I hope I have a good season. My team goal would be to limit our turnovers on offense.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?

A: I would go with Ezekiel Elliott because he’s always giving his all in games, so that inspires me to never give up no matter what the score is.

Jovany Favela, RB/LB

Jovany Favela will be a standout player on both sides of the ball, read what he has to say about the upcoming season.

Q: What is the best part about being back on the gridiron with everything going on right now?

A: Th e best park is to have an escape because football gives me an escape from the world. For a while everything fades and the only thing in front of me is my team and I.

Q: What are your personal and team goals for the season?

A: A personal goal for me is to better myself as a person and a player. A team goal for me is to be there for my teammates in whatever they need and to support them the way they’ve supported me these past few years.

Q: How do you prep for the Friday night lights, what are your pregame rituals?

A: I sort of distance myself and clear my mind before entering the tunnel and embracing my teammates.

#4 Jedian Sanchez, WR/DB 5’10” 145Ibs.
