The 2019 season was one of change for the Carroll Dragons as sophomore quarterback, Quinn Ewers, took the reins of the high powered offense. Ewers proved his value throughout the season and was later named by ESPN as the top prospect in high school football. Thanks to his on-field performance, Ewers has already received 28 college offers from schools such as Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas.
Following the football season, Ewers was also named as the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Male Athlete of the Year in 2019. Quinn finished his sophomore season with 4,003 yards passing yards, 45 passing TDs, 568 rushing yards and nine rushing TDs (stats courtesy of MaxPreps).
