George Ranch wins Lineman State Championship

When it comes to hard work, dedication and determination the big men of George Ranch High School Football team took all 3 and turned them into a State title.

After a long day of battling in Dallas, TX with many prime time high schools such as Desoto which is a true powerhouse, the Longhorns left on top.

Bench press MVP, George Ranch 2019-DL Travis Leffall with 32 reps at 205 pounds.

How did this State Championship win happen?

“We work hard every day during and after school. Teamwork is key at our school. This is a goal for us big guys to compete and win at the highest level against some of the best competition in Texas.”

What are some of your expectations for this upcoming season for the team?

“The team goals this season is to win District and make a deep run into the playoffs and hopes of bringing home our 2nd State Football Championship.”

Personal?

“My personal goal is to lead my team and always push for my highest level of performance on and off the field.”
