What started off with a simple phone call lead up to something bigger than expected for St. Pius X High School wide receiver, Seth Jones. The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder has caused a lot of eyes to wonder who he is and with his excellent reputation on and off the field, an offer from Boston College rolled in straight towards him.
How the offered happened
“My head coach text me and told me to call this number and that it was a coach from Boston College. I spoke with the coach that recruits the south. I was at home and I went outside to talk to the coach. He asked me my height and weight. He asked was I running track and what events I run. I told him I ran the 100, 4×1, long jump and high jump.”
Boston College has a past filled with creating amazing prospects for offense and in fact, will have a major part in pursuing Jones with the expectation that he could be one of the next in line, should the Eagles be able to cull him all the way from Houston, Texas.
Upcoming visits
“I will be going to Boston College this summer.”
What can be expected for Jones’ High School season
By coming in from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory School, Jones has the ability to bring in the same dominating mindset and athleticism to the field for head coach Stephen Hill at St. Pius X High School. Jones stated, “It’s only just the beginning.”
