the QB from any angle on the field. Shows good patience as a press CB utilizing well-timed opening of his
hips to match the receiver. Excellent body control and balance. Can shadow a nine route from release
to completion. Has burst and instincts to make plays from any coverage and position asked of him.
Good, solid and forceful open-field tackler. Exceptional ball skills and Ball Hawk at both WR and DB.
Mickens has the feet, hips and agility to be a lockdown cornerback and the ball skills to make teams pay
for looking in his direction. Son of former Texas A&M, New England Patriot and New York Jets
cornerback, Ray Mickens.
