James Lott's Prospect Breakdown
Strengths: Special and Unique athlete who plays multiple positions including Linebacker, Quarterback,
Wide Receiver and Running Back. Unique size with long limbs and a rangy frame. Combines
length with rare reactive athleticism and agility to be productive at multiple positions. Frame is
destined to become even more imposing with additional weight work. As a Lb’er shows
effective man cover skills with the versatility to match shifty running backs, slot receivers and
bulky tight ends. Has length and burst to affect pocket as edge rusher. Recognizes, reacts and
finishes as a tackler. Uses his size and speed to make plays all over the field. Shows good
lateral quickness to scrape and stalk. Sanders has posted high-impact production over the last
three seasons and he still has room to get bigger and better once he starts concentrating on
one position. Projects as a linebacker at the next level, but could play TE or H’back and be just as
productive.
Bottom Line:Â Committed to Alabama since late April 2019. Was named District 4A-5A-I Co-MVP in 2018. Unanimous first-team all-district selection in 2017. Opening Finals Invitee. Can play multiple positions at the next level but is expected to play outside linebacker for the Crimson Tide. Under Armour All-American
