Noel Moreno is entering his senior seasons with the cougars. He is primed to have a productive season and we got a chance to catch up with him to get his take on the upcoming season.
Q: What is the best part about being back on the gridiron with everything going on right now?
A: The best part is being able to compete again and play along side my brothers.
Q: What are your personal and team goals for the season?
A: The goal is simple to win a district title as a team and for me to be productive on the field while earning all district and all state honors.
Q: How do you prep for the Friday night lights, what are your pregame rituals?
A: I start things off with a good meal from Whataburger, then I get back to the locker room and listen to music, dance, and get hyped up with my teammates.

Q: What is the best part about being back on the gridiron with everything going on right now?
A: It really means a lot luckily for me, football has prepared me for everything going on in the world, so this pandemic is just another step along the way.
Q: What are your personal goals for the season?
A: I hope to anchor the defense this season by leading the team in sacks. 10 sacks is the goal.
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?
A: Nick Bosa because he’s the best DE in the NFL, I try to emulate my game after him.
